The Hollow Glow live on-air!
Hey guys,
Be sure to tune in (or at least go online and listen) to WTOS Homegrown tonight on 105.1 in Augusta. You can catch it online at www.wtosfm.com. They're featuring the Hollow Glow...yeah, us. =) Interview, spinning a song or two...and if you're lucky, maybe even an acoustic performance. We're on at 6pm - don't miss it!

BJ Joins the Hollow Glow!
Hey guys,
Big news...yes I know, I've been slacking on the posts here, but the truth is there has been quite a bit going on. I have been learning songs, auditioning, gigging, teaching, practicing...yeah, all that good stuff - and have landed the job as the new, full-time, bassist for the Hollow Glow.
The Hollow Glow is an amazing new band, made up of singer/songwriter/guitarist Ben Carroll and drummer Andy Ryan, both of the band Ra. The music is dark and melodic, but with a heavy enough edge to satisfy even the most discriminating hard rock fan. Think Alice in Chains meets Muse and opens up for the Silversun Pickups...yeah, something like that. We are just in the beginning phases of the band right now, but head on over to Ben's website for all of the info!

Thank You
So this post comes in two parts:
1) I know this site has only been up for a few days, but I really want to thank all of you for taking the time to check it out and for all the feedback I've received so far. It has been incredibly helpful, and I will definitely use it to try to make the site better as time goes on.
2) The second part of this is not music related at all, but rather a challenge for all of you guys. Say thank you to someone today (preferably to someone who doesn't expect it, but anyone will do). Thank the lady that holds the door for you when you go into the store. Thank the guy that bags your groceries. Thank someone close to you for something they did last week that really helped you out. I don't care who you thank or what you thank 'em for...just look them in the eye and say thanks and really mean it. It may not seem like a big deal, but it is to them. Trust me on this one.
That is all...more shredding to follow! =)
